Environmental Protection Authority
The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is an independent statutory body that protects the environment by providing sound, robust and transparent advice to the Minister for Environment. The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation supports the EPA in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing policies to protect the environment. The department also monitors compliance with the conditions of Ministerial Statements.
